Landscapers for Middlesbrough and Teesside
Global Outdoor Design builds fencing, driveways, patios and gardens for homeowners in Acklam, Linthorpe, Marton, Nunthorpe, Coulby Newham and across Middlesbrough, Stockton and Teesside.
We start with a free visit to see the space, check levels, drainage and boundaries, and show you materials. You get a clear written quote before anything is booked. On site, posts are set solidly, driveways and patios go down on a properly compacted base, and we leave the site clean when we finish.
- Fencing that stays up
- Posts set in concrete, gravel boards and panels built for the wind.
- Resin and block paving
- Driveways dug out and laid on a proper base.
- Patios and gardens
- Sandstone, porcelain, lawns and full garden redesigns.
- Clear, written quotes
- An itemised price and timescale, with no pressure.
Garden fencing built to last
A fence is only as good as its posts. We set posts in concrete at the right depth, fit concrete or timber gravel boards to keep panels off the ground, and choose panels that suit how exposed your garden is. The result is a straight, solid boundary that won’t lean after the first winter.
Choose traditional close-board for privacy, or contemporary horizontal slatted screening to frame a patio or seating area. We can also add matching gates, bin stores and decking.
- Close-board, featheredge and slatted styles
- Concrete or timber posts and gravel boards
- Gates, screens and decking to match

Middlesbrough questions
Quick answers to the questions we get asked most.
Can’t see your question? Get in touch or call 0191 245 5045.
Do you cover my part of Middlesbrough?
Yes. We work across Middlesbrough, including Acklam, Linthorpe, Marton, Nunthorpe, Coulby Newham, Hemlington and Ormesby, as well as Stockton-on-Tees, Thornaby, Ingleby Barwick, Yarm, Guisborough and Redcar.
How much does new fencing cost?
It depends on the length of the run, the height and style of fence, whether old fencing needs removing and the type of posts and gravel boards. We’ll measure up on a free visit and give you a clear written quote.
Can you replace a fence that has blown down?
Yes. We remove the old panels and posts, set new posts solidly in concrete and fit new panels and gravel boards so the fence is stronger than before.
Do I need planning permission for a driveway?
Usually not if the surface is permeable, like resin-bound or permeable block paving, or if water drains onto a lawn or border. A non-permeable surface over 5 square metres in a front garden normally needs permission. Dropped kerbs are approved by your local council, such as Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees or Redcar and Cleveland.
How soon can you visit?
We usually arrange a visit within a few days of your enquiry. Call 0191 245 5045 or send an enquiry and we’ll be in touch.
